The firing systems used by WEHRLE are designed relating to the applied fuel. 

WEHRLE mostly uses the following incineration plants

• fluidised-bed combustion 
• grate firing  

Fluidised-Bed Combustion: 
In terms of all incineration plants, we are specialised in fluidised-bed combustion plants. 

Fluidised-bed combustion is characterised by the following advantages:

• high fuel flexibility (multi-fuel capability), wide range of fuel can be used simultaneously
• low NO_x-emission values provided due to controlled management of firing temperature, stepped combustion and SNCR denitrification plant

Grate Firing:

Grate firing can be designed by WEHRLE and our partners according to your guidelines.
