With the firm “Interregional Energy Company“ (IEC) from Minsk, Belarus, WEHRLE has found a suitable sales partner for the Russian and Belarusian market and signed a cooperation contract in March 2014.
The first contact was established at the WasteTech exhibition in Moscow in 2013. Mr. Vitaly Trifonov, Deputy Director and responsible for the Wastewater Department at IEC, was looking for a company which was active in the field of industrial wastewater treatment and had extensive knowledge.
IEC, subsidiary of the well-known TES DKM Group, is active in the field of energy technology and specialised in the construction of fuel and gas power stations. The company would now like to increase its range of services and offer technologies and processes for industrial wastewater treatment in the future. Owing to the cooperation, IEC will benefit from WEHRLE’s many years of experience and extensive know-how in the field of wastewater treatment, whereas WEHRLE will be supported by IEC on-site thanks to its local structures.
“We are glad to have found a further cooperation partner for the Eastern-European market in the form of IEC and are very optimistic that a fruitful cooperation will develop due to the common interests and the win-win situation involved“, emphasised Cornelia Timm, WEHRLE’s Project Manager for Eastern Europe.
