Thermal utilisation of ligneous biomass
In terms of biomass, WEHRLE does have a lot of experience in the thermal utilisation of ligneous biomass specifically waste wood of the categories A III and AIV.
WEHRLE's plants have been developed in the sector of waste engineering and can process waste woods of the categories A I to A IV besides residues of the pulp industry. While regular biomass boilers can be used to process waste of the categories A I to AII, WEHRLE's fluidised-bed combustion plants are the perfect tools to process waste woods of the categories A III to A IV due to their construction and control technology . WEHRLE's expertise regarding construction technology and WEHRLES special combustion control system are the main reasons for stronly reduced corrosion and a low NOx-value of the flue gas.
Moreover, waste woods of the categories A III and A IV with a particulate grain size up to edge length of 250 mm can be processed by the fluidised-bed combustion plants of WEHRLE.
We provide small and middle sized incineration plants (1-10 MWth) for waste woods of the categories A I to AIV. All plants are completely standarised fluidised-bed combustion plants including fuel feed, firing, boiler plant, flue gas cleaning plant as well as chimney. Besides the small and middle sized incineration plants, we offer individually designed plants up to 15 MWth together with our partners.
