Liquid manure defines the excretions of agricultural animals.
Liquid manure is an important fertiliser of the agriculture. Regions with commercial animal fattening plants suffer from high nitrate entry and massive contamination of the groundwater near surface. Consequently, liquid manure used as fertiliser became a huge issue in these regions. Therefore WEHRLE developed pioneering technologies in the sector of liquid manure treatment.
Before being thermally used, liquid manure has to be processed by several treatments. In order to use the solid parts of the liquid manure, the liquid manure needs to be drained first. At manageable costs, WEHRLE's technologies can provide receiving water quality.
The liquid manure needs to reach a calorific value of 4,5 MJ/kg during the solid phase of the treatment in order to reach fuel quality and be thermally used. This fuel is particularly sustainable for the fluidised-bed combustion incineration technology. It can cope with high proportion of mineral, sulphur and nitrogen compounds due to its construction and control system technology. WEHRLE's know-how in terms of construction as well as WEHRLE's special regulation system which have been gained by the experience in the waste sector, are the main reasons for the advantages of strongly reduced corrosion and conservation of low NOx-value of the flue gas.
The dried liquid manure can be processed by the fluidised-bed combustion plants of WEHRLE from grain size up to edge length of 250 mm depending on the size of the plant.
We provide small and middle sized incineration plants (1-10 MWth) for liquid manure. All small and middle scale plants are completely standarised fluidised-bed combustion plants including fuel feed, firing, boiler plant, flue gas cleaning plant as well as chimney.
